When I’m solving engineering problems, I usually assume I know nothing and let the process work itself out. I don’t need to control the process to get the best answer. The same thing applies to my art. I don’t need to manipulate it to get the outcome I want. Instead, I let the art lead me and together we end up with a beautiful painting.
